How to watch IPTV on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
Install a compatible IPTV player from the App Store on iPhone, iPad or Apple TV, sign in with Xtream Codes or M3U, and avoid the copycat apps that fill the store.
On Apple devices, install an IPTV player from the App Store that supports Xtream Codes, then enter the server URL, username and password from your access email. TiviMate does not exist on Apple; many players with similar names do, so check the publisher, the reviews and the description before installing.
What you need
- An iPhone or iPad on a recent iOS / iPadOS version, or an Apple TV HD or Apple TV 4K.
- Your sign-in details: server URL, username and password (or your M3U link).
Step 1: choose a player in the App Store
Search for “IPTV player”. Pick one that clearly mentions Xtream Codes in its description, has recent updates and solid reviews. Many players work on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV with a single purchase; some offer a free version with limits and a paid upgrade sold by their publisher.
Step 2: add your account
- Open the player and choose Add playlist (or Add user, Add account).
- Select Xtream Codes (sometimes called Xtream API).
- Enter the server URL with
http://and the port if there is one, then your username and password exactly as in your email. - Save and wait for channels, the TV guide, movies and series to load.
On Apple TV
Open the App Store from the home screen and install the same player. Typing long details with the remote is slow: many players let you add the account from your iPhone (QR code or a web page), or sync it between devices. Plug the Apple TV in with Ethernet for the most stable 4K.
Watching on the TV from an iPhone
Some players support AirPlay to an Apple TV or compatible TV. For daily use, a player installed directly on the Apple TV, or a Fire TV Stick, gives a better picture and a real remote control.
